PokerStars Launches New PokerStars.TV Site
PokerStars has launched a new video site that will be "offering live webcasts of major events and a unique collection of high quality poker footage." The site is currently in the beta testing phase and is located at PokerStars.tv and the line up will include Stars sponsored events and will show the latest things happening from their growing Team PokerStars player lineup.
The site has a video tutorial that is narrated by Daniel Negreanu that will give players an overview of what the site has and how members can use and access the material. Under the "Channels" tab at the top of the site users will find sub-groups for major events like the European Poker Tour and channels that are dedicated to each Team PokerStars Professional.
There are also live play videos, instructional comments, interviews, and behind the scenes looks at each player in Team PokerStars. They are joined by several other categories such as "Online Action, "Sweat the Hand", and "Fun Stuff". The new site already had over 500 videos when the beta test version was announced.
Right now all of the videos are only available in English but PokerStars will be launching video libraries in other languages in the future. PokerStars.tv also has a searchable database of filters, so videos can be sorted by player, event type of hand being played and more to make navigating the site easy for members.
