Annie Duke $100,000 Texas Hold'em Tournament
There are only a couple of seats left at the Annie Duke $100,000 Texas Hold'em Tournament so if you want a shot at the $50,000 first place prize you better register right away.
The tournament is set to start on March 20th at San Manuel Indian Bingo and Casino. Anyone can still qualify to play in this freeroll event but there are only 1,000 seats total and there are only 100 to 150 seats left that aren't filled. Players that want one of those seats have to make five full houses of nines or better to qualify for the event.
Stamps are awarded for every full house that qualifies and are put on a tournament qualifying card. Once players have filled their cards they can trade it in for their entry into the tournament. There is one little catch players must have a valid Club Serrano card to get into the event.
The tournament is going to be a mixture of both elimination and shootout styles. The first two rounds will be played shootout style and the winner from each table will advance. The last round will have the remaining 40 players and will play down to the winner in an elimination style game.
Along with a chance of the money players will also get to meet Annie Duke as she will be serving as the master of ceremonies. This event will be taking place in the Bingo room at 7pm as it is the only space large enough to hold all 1,000 players. Last year's lucky winner was Carlos Chaves out of Banning, California.
