Blackjack eXtreme Release

The idea has the game of blackjack meeting the poker table. A dealer button moves around the table allowing everyone a chance to be the dealer and as with poker, you will not be playing the house. Players are able to surrender, stay and hit and doubles and naturals pay three to two. They claim that if you are skilled at blackjack, can card count with the foresight to see a bluff, you will be successful at BlackJack eXtreme.

The game is the brainchild of retired television and movie director/producer David C. Thomas. Thomas along with Mark Koetting has formed BJX Entertainment, LLC, a part of MADtek Entertainment, LLC. Koetting is an astute businessman with a strong marketing, sales and software design background.

This alluring game is being pitched as a card game show for television, an online or land-based casino and even a casino floor game like video poker. Thomas had this to say about his game, "It"s fast. It"s fun. Blackjack Extreme is even more sociable than standard blackjack or Texas Holdem."

They have already gained approval from authorities to allow it to be played in private card clubs in California. Approval from the National Indian Gaming Commission to have the game played in tribal casinos is what they are hoping for next. According to Thomas, "We think casinos are evolving into amusement centers rather than gambling halls. We are offering casinos a new roller coaster for their park."
