Fireswirl Technology Launches
The company plans to fully support Value Added Resellers (VARs) offering VARs pre-sales support, marketing materials, product seminars, technical support, substantial discount on products and extended credit terms. Johnson Chandler, executive VP, said the program is an initiative to open up the lucrative European market for their online poker products.
Chandler went on to explain the strategy they will use to promote the software. He stated; "Fireswirl have an exceptional product to offer, but our exposure to the European market is yet limited," he said. "Online poker operators in Europe often find it difficult to source a solid and reliable poker software solution. We want to work with partners with local experience to showcase and promote our products to these potential customers."
The online poker market has gone through an astounding growth period in recent months. The cumulative wagers placed in online poker rooms have grown from USD$10.6 million a day in January 2003 to USD$64.7 million a day in December 2003.
The Largest online poker sites have had to invest millions to developed and administrate their own in-house solutions. A stable and full-feature poker solution that can support a high traffic site has been scarce commodity. "We want to help European poker operators to focus on running and expanding their business, while enjoying the privilege of using the most advanced poker technologies at the same time," said Chandler.
Fireswirl is working in conjunction with one of its channel partners The Richmond, BC-based Company is projecting to build their channel of sales to reach $20 million by the end of 2005, according to Chandler. He said "To repeat our success in North America, we are aligning our efforts in Europe," adds Chandler, "and a good network of partners is a major key."
