Caesars Palace's Mega Stack Series

To find the largest poker room in Las Vegas you have to go to Caesars Palace and this summer they are giving poker players from around the world more reasons to come play some hot poker at their casino.

Starting June 1st and running until July 9th they are going to be offering the "Mega Stack Series" to draw away players from the World Series of Poker Events.  This series is going to offer smaller buy in events but will still have the major tournament feel.

The Mega Stack Series is going to have 38 preliminary events that will have low buy ins that range from $200 up to $500 dollars that will feature deep starting stacks. 

Poker Room Manager Jim Pedulla said, “Players are going to get more value for the dollar than they will find at any of our competitor’s rooms.  They are going to get huge starting stacks and a great structure that gives them more time to play. Also, our poker room has the ability to host 600 players plus alternates all in the same room, so no one will have to feel segregated from the tournament.”

Registration for the events will begin at 10am and the events will start at 12 pm.  All preliminaries will have 50 minute blind levels and most events will be open no limit hold'em tournaments but the series will have a Omaha eight or better event, a pot limit Omaha event, a limit hold'em event and a seniors event.

The series will finish with a $1,000 dollar buy in no limit Hold'em Mega Championship that will happen on July 7th, players will start out with 25,000 in chips and the blinds will increase every 60 minutes.
