Jonathan Little helped kick off the beginning of the 2008 Full Tilt Online Poker Series by hosting the first event of the series. The first event was a $200 buy-in No Limit Hold'em tournament with a guaranteed $750,000 prize pool that amazingly went up to a staggering $1,063,800. Over 5,000 players signed up for the event, upping the prize pool to over the million dollar mark.

Many pros participated in the event, yet only one managed to finish in the money. Jon"PeralJammed" Turner finished in 160th. The players who made it to the final table were: JJ COMERCE, Bull 1967, KSmith2k7, JaspudUF, ROBIN538, EPPY1, Silent Assazin, Cwdric and cashmaker81.

When play began at the final table three people were eliminated pretty quickly: JJ COMMERCE, KSmith2k7 and Bull1967. ROBIN538 went all in with A-9 and was called by cashmaker81 who held J-9 both diamonds. Cashmaker81 saw diamonds on the board created a flush so ROBIN538 was out next. Cwdric was in the chip lead but with his flush cashmaker81 took the lead.

Cashmaker81 took his lead and went all in with A-K with a K on the board but Cwdric's A-Q matched up with runner runner giving him a straight and the hand. Cashmaker81 took a huge blow to his chips with that hand. . Cwdric took out Eppy1 after JaspudUF was eliminated. It was finally down to three: Cwdric, cashmaker81 and Silent Asazin. Low on the totem pole was Silent Asazin and when a move was made he came up short being the next one eliminated and leaving Cwdric and cashmaker81 in heads-up play.

Cwdric was in the chip lead but not for long. Cashmaker81 would win a major hand and even out the chips. A short time later, Cwdric folds a raised hand and cashmaker81 would gain the chip lead. After about two hours the final hand would be played. Cashmaker81 would be victorious and win the first event of the 2008 Full Tilt Online Poker Series.
