Players Win Seats to South African Poker Open

The South African Poker Open is set to begin today and continue until February 11th. The MonteCasino in Gauteng will be the host for the event. The tournament will feature an Omaha High event, a No Limit Hold'em event and the Open. The Omaha and Hold'em events will last for two days then a Super Satellite will be held for one day for players to qualify for the Open. However four players from Titan Poker have already scored seats to the event.

Titan Poker hosted several Super Satellites on their website where the winners would be given a prize package to the South African Poker Open worth $8,000. The package includes money for accommodations, travel and the buy-in for the tournament. The players will also be treated to special cocktail parties and galas while they explore South Africa.

A Dutch player and Three Canadians are the lucky players who won the seats. Mike Bryd, one winner from Canada, stated: "I've been playing online for around four to five years, but this will be the first big buy-in tournament that I have ever participated in, so I am very excited."
