Second Annual Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Tournament
The second annual Jennifer Harman Charity Poker Tournament will kick off tomorrow at 3pm at the Venetian Hotel and Casino in Las Vegas. There are still seats left in the tournament if you want to play, the tournament is going to be helping the Nevada Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals.
There will be a red carpet reception at 2pm before play starts at 3pm there is a recommended donation (buy in) of $300 dollars and optional re donations (rebuys) of $200 dollars that will be available throughout the first three levels of play. The first place winner will get a $10,000 dollar seat into the World Series of Poker Main Event and all proceeds of this event will go to the ASPCA.
There are several notable players that will be playing tomorrow, including Phil Ivey, Johnny Chan and Phil Hellmuth. There will be some celebrities in residence as well including NFL Quarterback Shaun King, Ross Powers and more. Kirk Morrison won the inaugural event and raised $130,000 dollars for the NSPCA, a non profit organization and no kill animal sanctuary.
